Terms and Conditions


All bookings via our online system should be treated as provisional until you receive confirmation from us via email.

 

Payment can be made by debit or credit card at the time of your booking. Alternatively, you can pay by bank transfer. Confirmation of the booking will be sent after the payment has been received. Little Norlington Barn only accepts bookings from persons over 18 years of age. Little Norlington Barn reserves the right, at all times, without statement of reasons, to refuse or cancel a booking.

 

The prices featured on the website are not binding; Little Norlington Barn reserves the right to modify these prices. At the time of booking, you will be informed of the prices applicable. The price stated on the confirmation invoice is binding.

 

As guests come for peace and quiet and because of the nature of our buildings, we have an over 16-year-old policy, unless by prior arrangement. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

 

Please advise us of your intended arrival time and update us en-route. Please ensure you plan your journey to arrive no later than 9pm.

 

Guests are requested to vacate their room by 10.00 am on the date of their departure.

 

Standard booking and cancellation terms

25% deposit on booking and the balance 4 weeks before arrival, plus a £250 damage deposit.  

If, following booking, you would like to reschedule your stay, please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to arrange a suitable alternative, subject to availability.

All cancellations will be subject to an administration charge of £100.

 

If the booking is cancelled 28+ days before arrival, then there is a full refund, minus the administration charge.


If the booking is cancelled less than 28 before arrival, there is no refund. However, if the Milking Parlour can be relet for the same rental period at the same rate or higher, then we may refund you less the £100 administration charge.


We recommend that you take out suitable holiday insurance in case you need to cancel.


In the event that we need to cancel your holiday, we shall inform you as soon as possible and refund all monies paid to us, by you, within 14 days of notifying you.  We reserve the right to cancel your stay for any reason.


Dogs are allowed by prior arrangement and at our discretion in the Milking Parlour, at a charge of £25 per dog per stay of 4 nights or less and £50 per dog for a stay of 5 - 7 nights/per week. Dogs must be kept under control at all times. They must not be left unsupervised. Owners are liable for any damage caused by their dog. Please clean up after your dog. A bin is provided.

 

Guests are welcome to use the free wireless broadband service we provide, but we will not be held responsible for any loss of service or damage to guest devices or data.

 

Parking for all guests is available on site and is free of charge.

 

There is no smoking or vaping permitted anywhere within the property or grounds. Anyone found smoking may be asked to leave. Any evidence of smoking in the Milking Parlour after departure will result in a £100 cleaning charge. Please do not leave any lit candles, lanterns or fires unattended.

 

We ask that guests keep noise to a minimum after 10.30pm and before 8am in consideration of our neighbours and reserve the right to request any guest to leave in the event of unexceptable behaviour. 


By booking and coming to Little Norlington Barn, you agree to be responsible for your own welfare and for your children and any children in your care, and to take all reasonable precautions against personal injury, injury to others and damage to facilities and rooms. 


Use of the facilities at Little Norlington Barn is the responsibility of the guest and is done so at their own risk. Little Norlington Barn accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage to your property that may arise from your stay at Little Norlington Barn.

 

Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to the property, which will be charged at 130% of fair replacement value or necessary cleaning.

 

The cost of replacing keys lost by guests is charged at £20 each.
